Stella's 1/2 Birthday
Stella turned 5 1/2 on Saturday. Since we were out of town then, we celebrated tonight with our usual brownie cake and 5.5 candles. It's usually a half cake, but this time Stella wanted it round.
So here's to Stella, for five and a half years of excellence.

Wow! I really can't belive it! (Stella. Not Tristan with a bow in his hair) I remember playing with Stella at the cottage and she was not even walking! Geez, we are both getting old, Stella! Hope you enjoyed every bite of that delicious-looking cake! (By the way, does this make me a slacker since I didn't send a half b'day card?!?) :)
laura you are not a slacker. in fact, you're the only person i know who manages to send cards to everyone. not to mention on time. speaking of cottage...are you guys coming back at all this summer?

Happy 1/2 Birthday, Stella! You are one of the most charming and delightful girls I know and that comes through on your pictures. I remember when you and several other girls were all given gifts and one of the others wanted the one you received. You very cheerfully offered it to her - I was so impressed by that! I love your smiles, your inquisitive nature, and your love for your mom and dad. I love you, too!
