continued...
stella loved new york. we probably walked 100 blocks in 2 days and she kept saying "i love new york" or "new york is so much fun". not to mention the weather called for mid 40's, which turned out to be mid 20's with 35mph winds! when we went into fao schwartz stella spotted the fetal/newborn white tiger within 30 seconds. when it came time to pick an hour and a half later, she wanted nothing else. the tigers name is daisy.

ok, ok...
all right mumma. 6 things you may not know about me. or you may.
1) my biggest material obsession is lipgloss. i have 2 vanity drawers full, as well as hiding spots all over my house. i have an entire bag in my closet stuffed with lipgloss and i sent betsy home with a bunch. i feel naked when i'm not wearing it...i even had to take one cave tubing. and i keep buying them because you never know when you'll find the PERFECT one. nearly all of them are some shade of nude or pinky nude. it's unfortunate that i live near a sephora now; my obsession has become pricey.
2) i'm an avid football fan. i'm aware of most of the key players in the nfl and have watched the draft the last 2 years.
3) my favorite non-dessert food is pizza. i think sushi is one of the most delicious things ever, but pizza is my first love.
4) my favorite novel ever is lonesome dove, by larry mcmurtry. it's an epic western that has the most well developed character's of any book i've ever read. it's fantastic.
5) I saw the orangutan's mating at the zoo 2 weeks ago. not even mating, blatantly just having fun. one of the funniest things i've ever seen. stella said "i know why you guys were laughing, because they were wrestling"
6) i HATE chick flicks. like, i don't enjoy watching them when i'm with other girls, by myself, at all. not in a train, not on a plane. not here or there, not anywhere.
and there you have 'em. i even threw in a little dr. suess for y'all.
and here's just a random photo of me and t. a little bonus.

Mother's Day
so i'm really not a creative writer at all, but i will do my best to narrate a little.
i had a beautiful mother's day. we had brunch downtown with diz and the boys and just walked around the mall for a while. the army had set up tanks and helicopter's, etc, on the mall so that was interesting. we also walked through the smithsonian castle garden's and they're pretty fantastic. and while it's been a little on the hot side here, the weather was a delightful 70 and sunny.
